Volvo VIDA Change language

Volvo VIDA Change language details.

We install the Volvo VIDA 2014D software with multi-languages, chosen 3-4 llanguagestogether, after installed, we open All-in-one, the software lan gaugebecome Spanish, but we want to change to English, there is no setting details in the software config page.

I search the PDF user manual find the official way to change language is put the install DVD back, run the setup again, choose the language you need. So i did that, it will take 5 mins or so to install the language.

After restrat, open ALL-IN-ONE Vida still shows the other language.

Searched the registry as well, there is no language define string.

Conculution:

  1. The volvo vida DICE software once you installed, the language can not change.
  2. choose only 1 language when you setup the software
  3. If you want to change the language, uninstall the whole software, and re-install, it will waste you over 45 mins!

Be aware of the foolish software, anyway, if you have any solution for the software, plz let me know.

The upgrade of PIWIS Tester ii v15.600 is same as usual way, just insert the DVD and connect power supply to laptop, choose [Tools] [DVD Update] then it will install automatcailly.

1. Please insert the upgrade DVD into DVD rom, then choose [Tools- DVD Upgrade] the software will install automatically.

2. Choose [Yes] when you see this screen

PIWIS2 V14.75 Installation Steps

PIWIS2 V14.75 Installation Steps by OBDResource, we upgrade piwis ii v14.75 from piwis ii v14.35, the V14.75 is only small update, new features as below:

— Cayenne 92A (from MY 11):

So we strongly suggest you upgrade based on V14.35, if you have V13.700 or even earlier version, please upgrade till V14.000 or V14.350, then do this upgrade.

1. Please insert the upgrade DVD into DVD rom, then choose [Tools- DVD Upgrade] the software will install automatically.

2. Choose [Yes] when you see this screen

3. Click [OK] to confirm the upgrade.

4. When you seen this screen, you need wait with patient, it might cost around 4-7 hours (for me it costs 5:21 hours to install, via CF-30 laptop CPU: 9300 4GB RAM) to finish the whole upgrade process.

5. Wait till you see this screen, then it will restart the laptop automatically.

eUpdate 2014AU1 is an important part of the VIDA 2014A installation. When VIDA 2014A is
installed for the first time, or if the previously installed version is not 2013D, it can take up to two hours after the registration of VIDA before 2014AU1 will be downloaded and installed. To force the installation of eUpdate 2014AU1, ensure that VIDA has been registered and then restart the computer. The eUpdate will then be downloaded and installed immediately.

Some users are not able to install this software or the software can not run after installation, please pay attention to the following Tips.

DAF DAVIE XDc II Driver Free Download

Yesterday i was successfully installed the DAF Davie XDC II in DELL laptop,  well tested all working great, right now i’m try to use another software to work with this hardware, but i met a problem is DAF DAVIE XDc II Driver missing.

Now i share my experience with you guys.  You can just follow my steps and successfully making the DAF DAVIE XDc II Driver back!

  1. Connect the DAF Device to DAF Truck OBDII port and switch ignition on (Don’t connect to laptop by USB cable now!!)
  2. After the LED statues are stable, install the DAF Software VCI from your desktop (Download the Software VCI from here DAF SoftingVCI DRIVER)
  3. After the installation successful, now insert the USB Cable to laptop USB Port, system will find now hardware, click “next” the driver will be installed automatically.
  4. Test&Finish! (As below pic)
